I am so happy to pop into your inbox with the last two episodes of season 5 and other news from the field!
Throughout this season I confirmed the hunch I had in the beginning: Quitting is just part of the game.
What I learned more about are when and how to move on:
All six guests shared their stories of turbulence, evolution and new chapters. Here's what I learned:
- Ecosystem builders quit because they run out of both, the internal and external resources to keep going.
- Ecosystem builders often find new ways to keep building community and connections.
- Quitting can be temporary.
- HOW you quit matters a great deal.
In my final interview of the season, I sat down with Naomi Ryland (TWICE!) to talk about her wild journey as a social entrepreneur in Germany and found out what the alternative to quitting might look like. In episode eight, I share my key insights and a long list of resources that we gathered throughout this season.
